Background:

Oak Services began in 2005 as a facilitator of business finance, however its business model evolved in order to provide a complete solution to its clientele.The evolution began with a simple telephone enquiry from a client. It had nothing to do with finance, but more importantly to assist with his son’s education.

“What is the definition of Economics?”

The following two definitions were provided:-

1. The branch of social science that deals with the production and distribution and consumption of goods and services and their management 

2. The study of how people use their limited resources in an attempt to satisfy their unlimited wants.

Put simply, every business has two roles, consumer and producer, and to be profitable, production  must exceed consumption, and to maximise profitability  in a marketplace, the resources need to be efficiently applied. These resources have many guises, and hence at that point Oak began striving to develop a platform to assist clients in using their “limited resources” to “satisfy their unlimited wants”.

How many times have you wanted a multi-faceted employee?  Even if lucky enough to find one, they still will be a “limited resource”, as knowledge takes years to attain, and also requires continued renewal. 

Buying in contracting services (outsourcing to e.g. an employment agency)  is a short term solution to your needs, but it does not purchase long term loyalty and commitment. This is where Oak performs. It is like having your own multi-faceted employee, subject to your control, as and when you require it.

A client  manager is assigned to you, and instead of speaking to different faceless individuals (e.g. a call centre), you only ever need to speak to one person who is the bridge between you and our internal personnel. We pride ourselves on a tailored personal service.
